How billing works

What you pay for - and what you do not.

The $49 diagnostic is the entry point for most walk-in and drop-off jobs. It covers intake, bench testing, and a written estimate. If you approve the repair, that fee is waived and folded into the job. If you decline, you still leave knowing what is wrong instead of guessing at a big-box counter.

Hourly bench labor is for work that does not fit a flat package - mixed hardware faults, custom builds, and multi-step OS recoveries. We track time honestly and stop when the scope you approved is done. Flat packages (malware removal, OS install & migration) exist so common jobs stay predictable. Parts are separate: cost plus 15%, quoted before install when possible.

Remote support has a 30-minute minimum because setup and verification take real time even when the “fix” is short. On-site work inside Tahlequah has a one-hour minimum; travel past 25 miles is $0.70/mile as published. Business rates cover multi-device environments, servers, and documented project work with net-15 invoicing on approved accounts.

Emergency and incident-response rates exist so after-hours ransomware or same-day crisis work does not silently push every other customer’s machine. If you are not in a crisis, standard hours and Tier 1 rates apply. Full terms live in shop policies.

Rate philosophy

Pay for signal, not ceremony.

Diagnostics exist so we stop guessing. Labor rates exist so deep work is sustainable. Emergency rates exist so a true crisis can jump the queue without lying to everyone else on the pad. Flat packages cover the high-frequency missions - malware, OS migration - so you are not watching a clock for routine burns.

We do not invent line items to dress up an invoice. If the fix is a cable, you buy a cable. If the motherboard is toast, you get that truth before we simulate hope for three billable hours. Transparency is not marketing; it is how complex systems stay fundable.

Know the mission? Let's scope the burn.
