What kinds of computers and devices do you work on?

Windows laptops and desktops, custom-built PCs, and home or small-business network gear. That includes hardware diagnostics and repair, cracked screens and keyboards, RAM and storage upgrades, malware and ransomware triage, boot and blue-screen problems, Wi‑Fi and wired networks, clean installs, migrations, and data recovery attempts.

We are not a phone or game-console specialty shop, and we do not claim manufacturer warranty service for brands that require authorized centers. If your device is outside scope, we will say so quickly so you are not waiting on a dead end.

Do I need an appointment, or can I just bring it in?

Shop hours are Monday to Friday, 12:00 to 4:00 PM, by appointment. Walk-ins are welcome when the bench is open, but the fastest path is to send what the machine is doing first so parts, cables, or a remote slot can be ready when you arrive.

After-hours emergency work is available at published emergency rates when capacity allows - that is priced differently because it displaces other jobs on the bench.

How much will a repair cost?

Every job starts with a diagnostic ($49, waived if you approve the repair). Once the fault is identified, you get a clear quote for labor and any parts before work begins. There are no surprise charges and no parts swapped on a guess.

Published rates for bench, remote, on-site, malware packages, and business work are on the pricing page. Parts are billed at cost plus 15% when they are required.

Will I lose my files, photos, or settings?

Not as a default. We repair operating-system and boot problems without wiping your user files whenever the disk and install can be saved. Clean installs and migrations are done deliberately, with your documents and settings moved when licenses and disk health allow.

If a wipe is the only safe path - for example a deeply compromised system or a failing disk that cannot be trusted - we tell you before that step and discuss backup or recovery options first. See also data policies.

My hard drive died - can you recover the data?

Often, yes - but recovery is never guaranteed. We handle failing or dead drives, accidental deletion, and corrupted partitions. The first step is assessing whether the media is stable enough to image. Clicking mechanical drives and severely failing SSDs need careful handling; aggressive DIY tools can make recovery harder.

We give you an honest read on what is likely recoverable and bill for the attempt as published, not for a promised outcome. If the job belongs in a clean-room lab, we will tell you rather than waste the remaining readable sectors.

Do you remove viruses and malware?

Yes. We remove common malware, browser hijacks, fake antivirus scareware, PUPs, and many trojans, then check browser shortcuts, scheduled tasks, and startup entries that reinfect a “clean” scan. When useful, we harden accounts, enable better update habits, and remove the software that opened the door.

Ransomware and active breaches are treated as incidents: we prioritize stopping the spread and preserving evidence of what was encrypted before any rebuild. Prevention tips are in our malware signs guide.

Can you set up or fix my Wi-Fi or network?

Yes. We troubleshoot dead zones, random drops, slow Wi‑Fi, ISP modem/router combo issues, and small business networks that grew one cheap access point at a time. Good placement and channel planning often fix more than buying a bigger box.

We can also add wired backhaul, guest networks, and basic segmentation when cameras or work devices should not share a flat open network with every phone in the house. Background reading: Wi‑Fi dead zones guide.

Do you offer remote support, or is it drop-off only?

Both. Many software issues, configuration changes, email/printer problems, and walkthroughs can be handled live over a remote session with your approval - no drop-off required. Hardware failures, liquid damage, storage that will not enumerate, and cases where the machine will not boot still need the bench.

Remote sessions are billed at the remote support rate with a 30-minute minimum. You can end the session at any time.

What areas do you serve?

Tahlequah, Oklahoma and the surrounding area, including ZIP codes 74464, 74401, and 74403.

How long does a typical repair take?

Many software and malware jobs finish the same day or next business day once they are on the bench. Hardware repairs depend on parts: common SSDs, RAM, and some screens are quick; special-order panels or motherboards take longer. You get an ETA at drop-off and an update if a part is delayed.

Emergency same-day work is available when capacity allows, at emergency rates. Rushing a complex board-level fault is sometimes worse than waiting for the right part - we will not skip verification just to hit a clock.

Do you work on Macs, phones, or game consoles?

Our core focus is Windows PCs, custom builds, and network gear. Limited help may be possible for other devices case by case, but we will not take a job we cannot support well. If you need an Apple Authorized or phone specialist, we will say so rather than hold your device for days.

Is there a warranty on repairs?

Labor is warrantied for 30 days on the specific issue we fixed. If the same problem returns in that window, bring it back and we make it right at no charge for that labor. Parts carry their manufacturer warranty. New unrelated failures, physical damage after pickup, liquid damage, and reinfection from the same risky habits are not covered - details are in policies.

What should I try before booking?

For safe, non-destructive checks, see our free guides: slow computer, won't boot, Wi‑Fi dead zones, malware signs, and backup basics. Skip anything that involves opening the case or third-party “optimizer” tools that make things worse. If you are unsure, book a diagnostic - that is what it is for.

Do you sell computers or only repair them?

We primarily repair, upgrade, and configure systems. Custom builds and component upgrades are available when that is the better path. If a machine is not worth repairing, we will help you think through a replacement budget without forcing a sales pitch.

Do you sell or set up hardware security keys (FIDO2 / Swissbit)?

Yes. CCPCREPAIR works with Swissbit under a B2B arrangement for the iShield Key 2 - a FIDO2 hardware authenticator for phishing-resistant logins and passkeys. We help enroll keys on the accounts that matter (email, Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace, password managers, admin panels), plan recovery if a key is lost, and can use model attestation (AAGUID) when you only want company-issued keys accepted.

This is scoped as a security engagement, not a random gadget sale. See services and the hardware keys guide, or contact us with which systems you need locked down.

How do I get started?

Tell us what the machine is doing through the contact page. Include device type, symptoms, and the best way to reach you. We will reply with next steps - drop-off timing, remote session, or clarifying questions - and open a ticket you can reference.

Still not sure? Send the symptoms - we'll vector you in.
